I am a NJ Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience in the field as a Clinician, Supervisor and Administrator. I received my BA in Social Work from Seton Hall University in 1996 and my Masters Degree in Social Work from Widener University in 1998. I received my LCSW in 2001.
The majority of my experience is in adolescent and family work.
I work primarily with youth 13 years and older, adults, couples and families. My specialties include:
Adolescent Issues
Family Issues
Relationship Issues
Anxiety
Trauma
Depression
Anger Management
Parenting
My approach to therapy is eclectic primarily drawing from Cognitive, Behavioral, Imago, Psychodynamic, Solution-Focused and Systems techniques.
I am a member of the Catholic Social Workers National Association and North American Association of Christians in Social Work. I do not have a theologically based approach but believe that a persons faith (whether it be Christian or other) can be an important part of the work.
You can keep up with me on my blog.
